Grand Knights Message

Greetings Knights and ladies. The October steak fry had a nice turnout of Knights and ladies. The speaker after dinner was Dave Falkner who spoke about the progress of the Expansion committee and different potential building options for St. Timothy’s. Seminarian Steve Villa from St. Paul’s parish also spoke about his journey to priesthood. Thanks to Bill Ohland for chairing the steak fry and the Ladies Auxiliary for furnishing the dessert.

The first 2nd Sunday breakfast had a good attendance of parishioners after all Sunday masses. I got good reviews from customers on the quality of food. Good job to all that helped. More help is needed for the 2nd shift so please call the November chairman. It makes his job easier.

Coming in November is the Memorial mass for deceased members, wives and children, the Special Olympics where 8 from our council will be helping and  the 2nd Sunday breakfast. Please try to support one or all of these events. Wrapping up the activities is a new event that our council will participate in. It is the Marian Hour of Prayer honoring our Lady of Charity.

Lastly everyone have Happy Thanksgiving.

Yours in Christ

Dick Dols

A New Marian Hour of Prayer

The framed images will be moved throughout the districts for a one-hour prayer service and rosary recitation. When was the last time anyone of us said a rosary?

The council from Epiphany will host the District Seven Hour of Prayer on November 10th from 9:00 – 10:00 am at Epiphany Church. There will be refreshments after the service.
