Grand Knights Message

Brother Knights another fraternal year has come to an end. I find myself at a loss for what to say because there is not much going on. It has been an uneventful month so far. By the time you get this we will have installed our officers, celebrated the year-end, and participated in Blaine's' Blazin 4th parade.

Our district deputy Marc Peters reminds us that we need to continue to look for new members. The summer is no time to take a vacation on membership. So if you have a new member in mind, don't wait until fall to talk to them; approach them now.

I would like to mention that I am in need of filling two positions. They are Lecturer and Committees chair. If you have questions about either one of these please contact me and I will let you know what the positions are about.

Please keep in your prayers the following people. From St. Tim's, Father George Kolath who is dying of cancer. Bill Peters; his boy just passed away. Bob Hosford; his Leukemia has returned. Al Perscala who; is struggling with cancer. Frank and Jane Neiland.

Golf Tournament

The St. Tim's Men's Club and Knights of Columbus golf tournament will be held on Saturday July 26th. The cost is approximately $17.00. The party is at Jay Wiedell's new place. The tournament will be held at Majestic Oaks again. Tee time will be at 10:00 AM. Please call Vern or Barb to sign up and for payment. Thanks.
