Grand Knight’s Message
Brother Knights,
We will be moving our April general meeting and the steak fry to Thursday April 10th, due to Thursday April 17th being Holy Thursday.
Our coat drive is coming up. So, go to your favorite store to pick up winter coats before their gone.
Our annual Fish Fries begin with the first one on Friday, February 28th .
And we have our last two second Sunday breakfasts for the fraternal year on March 9th and April 13th, which happens to also be Palm Sunday.
The Knights keep track of volunteer hours of its members both inside and outside the organization. If you are volunteering outside of the knights, please email Gerald monthly with the volunteer activities, and number of hours spent. Examples of some of the activities outside of the council can be things like taking care of sick parents, working in the soup kitchen, being a parish lector, volunteering for sporting events, etc.
Also, our progressive Cribbage Tournament continues, with the next game right after the March General Meeting.
Lent starts on March 5th this year.
Vivat Jesus!

46th Annual Concertina Bowl
Was on January 25th. Paying customers were down from 2024. However, we had 301 dancers and musicians come on a nice day. They had a wonderful time socializing and enjoyed the Polish & Roast Beef. Many thanks to many KC members who helped with the Dance floor, Door Guards, and in the Kitchen serving food. Also, thank you to the one Ladies Auxiliary and CCW member who pitched in for one shift. January 2026 will be the 47th Annual.
Dick Dols & Art Ohotto.
Lenten Fish Fries
Fish Fries have begun, but a lot of help is still needed to make it a success. We need servers, cooks, dish washers, help with set-up in afternoons, clean-up mornings after, and even a few sit down jobs like counting or selling raffle tickets. Fish Fries run every Friday February 28th through April 11th. If you are available for any or weeks, need specific time of shift please contact Jeremy.
SAVE THE DATE
Spring Steak/Chicken Fry will be on April 10th, due to our regular 3rd Thursday membership meeting being on Holy Thursday. Watch the April Guidepost for final details.

As of today, we have seven members who will be receiving or have received the Knight Alert notice. Soon phone calls will be made so please send in your dues as soon as you can. Questions contact me.
Have you moved, have you changed your phone number, have you made a change to your email address? Please keep the council updated when you have a change of address, change of phone number and finally a change to your email. It really helps us to keep track of where to send things to you. If you have any changes, please forward them onto the FS.
Please look at the back of your membership card. What do you see? It has my contact info. Please make sure your loved ones know this in case you are sick or have passed away.

You will be receiving a fundraiser letter along with a couple of Knight Foundation raffle tickets in January. Money raised from those raffle tickets are used for donations that the Raffle Foundation picks. Half of that money raised does come back to us to be used how we want it to be used. Please think about buying and sending back the sold tickets to me. The other piece is donations to a few different things that our council supports. Look for the mailing next month. Thank you.
