Grand Knight’s Message
I asked many of you to respond and answer Why did you Join? Thank you to those who did. This will assist us with our recruiting efforts.
Thanksgiving is fast approaching and at this time we take some time to remember what we are thankful for and remember those still need that extra special touch to make them feel that same level of thankfulness as us.
So, to see if you are reading this, e-mail me at email@example.com with a response to … What are you thankful for & why? Your response will earn you 20 entries towards the $60 gift card. Both parts must be answered.
This is also a time of where we remember those who have gone before us. Please continue to pray for their families and share your favorite memories with one another.
OUR NOVEMBER MEMBERSHIP MEETING HAS MOVED TO 11/28, DUE TO THANKSGIVING.

Our council Christmas Party has been moved to Friday, December 14th.
A special welcome to Betty Miller who joined us at the meeting. We look forward to our time together serving others.
REMINDER that we WILL NOT be meeting during November. Our next meeting is December 12, 6:30 pm where we will adopt-a-family or 2 from St. Tim’s. We will wrap gifts, so please bring wrapping supplies; and please bring a dessert or Christmas goodie to share.
We gave money to St. Tim’s for Thanksgiving baskets, Fr. George Kolath Scholarship, the new church projection screens and sound system, to Margo for adopt-a-family gifts, and to Bev for Memorial Mass refreshments.
Prayer intentions were made for improved medical health for Jan, Kate, and Chuck, for safe delivery of Kristy’s grandson, for all hunters, for thankfulness of a having a problem solved, and all those intentions thought but not spoken.
May you and your family have a safe and happy Thanksgiving holiday.
Yours in Christ,
Jean Ackermann, President

Your help is needed to help keep our council records current. Recently, attempts were made to contact members to help at the St. Tim’s carnival and it was discovered that we don’t have current phone numbers for a number of people. If you have changed phone numbers, dropped land lines over the past few years please contact the FS Gerald Arel. Also, please make sure we are aware of any address changes or any lengthy times you are not living at the address we have now.
